Christy Gates at July Hat Co. uses this medium to make her dreams become reality. "July of 2020, I began to create July Hat Company. Having a large hat size, makes is hard to find a hat that fits me. I set out to find larger sized hats. Then, I began to research unique ways to customize hats and hatbands. My husband is a master at tooling leather and he helped me broaden my range of customizing hats using leather and hardware. Business picked up quickly, and I retired from teaching in 2022. Retiring allowed me to devote more time to grow my business. Networking for July Hat Company’s growth has been amazingly rapid.
