Chris Neal and his crew saw a nearly packed house at 8 O’clock in the morning as they ran the first calf in the 15U Girls Breakaway. This first event also served as a last-chance semi-finals qualifier for those girls who were vying for those open spots that could potentially lead to the big money later in the week.
A 2.36 by Arina Dee Haugen of Sturgis, SD set the pace in the first round then it was Ellie Boyd of Waller, TX with a 2.18 in round number two. The short round saw Arina Dee come back with a 2.29 to split the round with Addi Carney from Crocket, TX. Arina Dee came out on top clearing over $4,036 for the day.
