Patriot Open team roping has changed to a number 15.5 team roping with no caps on either end. Contestants have to be current Global, USTRC, or WSTR members as well as Patriot members to enter.

HORSEMAN’S PARK STALL REFUND FORM
Chem Cam Pumping with be on site (Rockwood Lot: 1678 Rockwood Lane, Fort Worth, TX 76114), Tuesday, March 10, 2026, starting at 10:00am and Thursday, March 12, 2026, starting at 10:00am.
Pumping services will be $50.00/unit on the scheduled days. . If you need pumping outside the scheduled days, the cost will be $75.00/unit, and you must contact Pat at 817-584-4834 to schedule.
Cash payments only at time of service
Potable water will be available Wednesday, March 11th only. Make plans that day to fill up with water if needed.
FT WORTH: Events scheduled 2 weeks prior to finals will be the next year’s qualifiers. Last chance qualifier event will be held at the finals for anyone needing to get a last-minute qualification. Points deadline is the same as the qualifier deadline.
LAS VEGAS: Events scheduled one-week prior Las Vegas finals will be the next year’s qualifiers. Last chance qualifier event will be held at the finals for anyone needing to get a last-minute qualification.

If a contestant enters any age group (Sub Juniors, Juniors, or Seniors) at the TYRA for barrel and/or Poles, contestant is eligible to enter the 12U 15U 19U Patriot side pots for barrels and poles with carry over option. If a contestant enters the Sub Juniors or Juniors age division event at the TYRA Rodeo for tie down, breakaway, and/or goat tying, contestant is eligible to enter the 12U Patriot side pot for tie down, breakaway, and/or goat tying. These are coed events. If a contestant is entered 1 time in the rodeo in the Sub Junior or Junior division, only 1 side pot can be purchased or 12U.
If a contestant enters the senior age division, 14-18, event at the TYRA Rodeo for tie down, breakaway, and/or goat tying, contestant is eligible to enter the 15U or 19U Patriot side pots for tie down, breakaway, and/or goat tying. If a contestant is entered 1 time in the rodeo in the senior division, only 1 side pot can be purchased, 15U or 19U, not both. One rodeo entry to one side pot entry.
If a contestant enters the senior event at the TYRA Rodeo for steer wrestling, contestant is eligible to enter the 19U Patriot side pot for 19U steer wrestling. One rodeo entry to one side pot entry.
If a team roping team enters the junior or senior event at the TYRA for team roping, team is eligible to enter the Open or the 10.5 team roping, not both. If a team is entered 1 time in the rodeo in the junior or senior division, only 1 side pot can be purchased, Open or 10.5, not both. Patriot Team Roping is a dally only event.
NOTE: One rodeo entry to one side pot entry with the exception of barrels and poles.
Fort Worth Patriot Finals entries will open Jan 20th at noon, 12pm cst. Online entries will close Feb. 24th at noon 12pm cst, without a $50 late fee. All online entries with late fees will close March 4 at noon 12pm cst. See below for semifinals and 5D Open barrel Race closing times with late fees.
All semifinal event entries will close with late fees at noon, 12pm cst, the day before the respective semifinals discipline. Example: 15U Breakaway semifinals is Wednesday, March 11th. The semifinals online entries will close at noon, 12pm cst, March 10th. Onsite entries will close at 5pm cst, the day before.
Last Chance Qualifiers close 1 hours before published start time.
5D Open Barrel Race online entries will close with late fees at noon, 12pm cst, or when section is full, the day before section is scheduled. For example: 5D open section 1 (limit 300) and section 2 (limit 200) is scheduled to run Wednesday, March 11th. Online entries will close Tuesday, March 10th, at noon, 12pm cst. Onsite entries will close when the first horse runs for the sections or sections is full.
Stalls and RV’s will close Feb. 20th, 12 pm. After the stall and RV online reservations close, contestants can purchase onsite only, first come first serve.

A contestant earning a qualification from the qualifier event after Ft Worth or Las Vegas finals entries closed, can enter onsite before the qualifying semifinals close. No entries will be taken after the semifinals event is closed.
Ft Worth – No worries, onsite entries for the semifinals of the earned qualified event will be taken with a $50 late fee and will close at noon the day prior to the semifinals. A contestant earning a qualification from the last chance qualifier event at the Fort Worth Patriot can enter up until noon the day before the semifinals is scheduled.
Las Vegas – No worries, onsite entries for the semifinals of the earned qualified event will be taken with a $50 late fee and will close at 12pm noon the day prior to the semifinals. A contestant earning a qualification from the last chance qualifier event at the Fort Worth Patriot has 1 hour after the last chance qualifier to enter without a late fee.
Ft. Worth – No worries, onsite entries will be taken with a $50 late fee.

LAS VEGAS-Extra shavings can be purchased online at patriotevent.com when stalls are reserved or on site at Horseman’s Arena or onsite. NO OUTSIDE SHAVINGS ARE ALLOWED. NO TOLERANCE! This is per Horseman’s Park rules.

Points will be awarded to the top 10 of every event at each qualifier regardless how many qualifications are awarded. After a contestant has their 2 qualified spots for Ft. Worth and/or Las Vegas, they can continue entering side pots for points only. The points system will be as follows:
There will be “super qualifier” events for contestants to earn double points. Super qualifiers will award points from 20 down to 1 for points. The points system will be as follows:
How do I know if an event is a super qualifier? The event will be advertised as a super qualifier.
Deadline for points is the same as Ft Worth qualification deadline.
What is the advantage to earning points? Patriot has implemented a point system for all qualifiers. The Las Vegas Points and Fort Worth combined points for each contestant’s event/division will accumulate for the top 15-point earners of the year. The 19U age divisions excluding steer wrestling will be eligible to enter an added money event at the finals in Ft. Worth as well as prizes. The 12U and 15U age divisions will be eligible for year end prizes at Ft. Worth. No prizes will be mailed.
What are exemptions? Must have a 2024 Patriot membership.
The following earn an exemption and advance directly into the Semi Finals. The entry fee is $750 to use an exemption. Age restrictions for exemptions are determined by the age of the contestant on the day of Semi-Finals. The following are events for exemptions:
a. Jr Patriot Finals – 1st-10th in aggregate
b. IFYR – 1st-10th in aggregate
c. National High School Finals Rodeo – 1st-10th in aggregate
d. Little Britches Rodeo Finals – 1st-10th in aggregate
e. Jr High National Finals Rodeo – 1st-10th in aggregate
f. NHSFR State Champions

**NOTE: If exemption is being used, a contestant can enter online until Feb. 25th. A contestant can enter onsite at the main office before the semi finals entries close for the event. Documentation proof of the event and position won must be provided at time of entering exemption. FT WORTH: There will be a place for parking trailers. The facility takes care of this. Contestant will pull to the designated lot and pay the attendant to park the trailer.

Contestants use a Triad / Global ID number and their own set password to log in to purchase side pots and enter the finals.

The Ft Worth Young Guns age follows Patriot’s age guidelines.
The age guidelines are the contestant’s age on the day of the qualifier.

A contestant can add entries after entering already. They just go back through the process. They will be charged another office fee. The only way an entry can be adjusted, changed, or refunded is a change form, Entry-Change-Form-WEB-VERSION.pdf, filled out and emailed info@patriotevent.com. To change a horse name fill out the horse change form, Horse-Change-Form-WEB.pdf, and email to info@patriotevent.com. A draw out could potentially be a partial refund. Be sure and fill form out completely.
A team roper can only qualify 2 times total in each Open and 10.5 division. For Example: 2 heading, 2 heeling, or 1 heading and 1 heeling. Team ropers will be allowed to switch ends to meet their 2 total times to qualify but must stay in the division they qualified. If a team has qualified in the 10.5 and gets split because of a number change or partner not attending, they can move the TEAM to the open team roping division, OR they can split and stay in the 10.5 with a new partner. The 10.5 is capped at a 6.5 heeler. No team can split and move divisions they didn’t qualify for. If a team splits based on partner number change or partner not attending and the roper chooses his/her partner for Ft. Worth semifinals and/or Las Vegas semifinals, the partner chosen has to have entered a qualifying Patriot side pot during the current qualifying season. If a partner is chosen and hasn’t earned a qualification position, the fee for the chosen partner is $750.00. If the partner has an earned qualification, the fees will be the qualification fee.
Only one partner enters and pays both sides. Both contestants must also be a current USTRC or WSTR member in order to enter.
Ft Worth – A contestant has to have an entry first before reserving and RV or Stall.
Las Vegas- Stall and RV hookups are first come first serve. Available for anyone.
Yes, more than one stall per contestant can be purchased.
Las Vegas-Stalls and RV’s are available to everyone regardless if entered at Horseman’s Park or not.
Every contestant must be a current Patriot member if entering a Jr Patriot event. Patriot memberships are current from after the finals through the next year’s finals.
Walk Up Entries
Walk up entries will be taken onsite. Entries will close 1 hour prior to the posted event time.
Semi Finals Close
Walk up semifinals entries will close 1 hour after the last chance qualifier of the event.

Stall Reservations
There are plenty of stalls if anyone is needing a stall. To purchase stalls, please see an attendant on-site. Stalls will be sold onsite.
Stall Check-In Process
Identify the Contestant’s name with a Patriot Attendant. They will verify the contestant information and then give you your stall numbers and direct you where to go.
