Here’s everything you need to know to participate in the 2025 Pink Buckle, Ruby Buckle and Young Guns League Double Down events happening across the United States all year long.
What is the Double Down program?
The Double Down Program, offered through Pink Buckle, Ruby Buckle, and the Young Guns League, provides an opportunity for nominated horses to increase their earnings in select Open 4D races across the United States and Canada. With 20 designated events throughout the year, the program allows competitors to double their winnings by entering a selected race through one of the three incentive portals.
To participate, riders must pay an entry fee equal to the race fee, and if they place in the money, the program matches their winnings. Each horse may only enter through one incentive portal—either Pink Buckle, Ruby Buckle, or Young Guns League—but riders can choose which portal to enter through. The program applies to one designated round per event, with payouts determined in collaboration with event producers.
The Double Down Program is designed to bring additional earnings opportunities to nominated horses at regional events, expanding payout potential beyond major incentive races. Here’s a list of approved upcoming events. Entries typically close a few business days prior to the event.
